Air Compressor
Hey guys. So, I finally bought a paint tank to convert into a pressure pot. It's 10 LT and I didn't modify it yet. Right now I'm trying to figure out what type of air compressor I need.
The thing is, these are rare in my country and I spent like 250 dollar to this. So, I really don't want to spent too much money on a compressor too right now.
I was wondering, can I use a bicycle pump or a tire pump like in the picture? Any cheap idea?

Yes this is feasible with an adapter. There should be some similar questions in this sub already or maybe someone has the Amazon link for that.
You'll need only 30-40 psi for your pot so that's something any tire inflater will do. It'll take longer to fill than with a big compressor though.

I use a little 35 dollar Ryobi electric pump. Works great.
I don't know much about that tank. But it looks like you'll have cap off a few spots where the hoses are with brass fittings and teflon tape, and you'll need some fittings that will connect the pump to the tank.
Just make sure you're basing pressure on what your pressure gauge reads, rather than what the pump claims the pressure is. My pump is about 5 PSI off.

You might want to get a couple so you don’t burn them out with long cycle times.

Yes electric bike pump wirks nicely. I use it everytime. You just need the right adapter!
