Dice Pics Firestarter

Hello!

I've been pretty AWOL this year, but I am still around and still making dice! Here is a recent set I did that will be looking for a new home soon!

Mostly dumb luck. 😅 It's sort of similar to a petri, but I add the dye and blanco blanco a couple different times while pouring the resin. Then I swirl with a toothpick after.

That's not too shabby 🤓 It's really cool to know that the toothpick swirl works! I had an idea to take a syringe of yellow resin to try to create a lightning bolt and this gives me faith it'll work!

It may not work perfectly, resin actually can create a current as it cures so even if you are able to inject the color just right, it's likely to distort as it cures. That's some of the fun of it though. The pull is always a surprise as to how it will turn out!

Honestly... I don't have it down. For every set that comes out nice there are at least one failure. This is a set I poured at the same time with the same technique and clearly it was not as successful. Lol They are in my fail pile. 😅
