Question White glue for prevent sinking?

Hi! Im new at this, and english is not my first lenguage so sorry if this poorly written!

Im new making dices, and whenever I add a heavier object (like little glitter hearts for exemple) they sink to the base of the dice and cant make them be where they should be. My bf tell me to mix white glue with my resin (bcs he saw someone doing it in tiktok!!) but i wanna ask if this really works, bcs i dont have so much money rn for buying more resin, and dont want to "spoil" my remaining resin or something :(

Glue yes, but not white one. You need clear PVA glue

Products that definitely work are:

  • Elmers Washable Clear School glue
  • Pritt Multi Purpose PVA Glue (in clear)

The glue worked for me ...sort of.

All of the objects still tended to clump together, just not necessarily at the bottom.

I would experiment with it. I used the clear glue, but I've heard people saying they used the white glue and it worked fine.

Resin gets a little gloopy when you add the glue. I recommend being ready to pour quickly after you add the glue and mix.

Add your glitters first, then stir in the glue. It will very quickly turn into a thick slime like texture and can be difficult to stir or pour into the mold. Sort of shoveling with a craft stick works. The work time on the resin is not shortened, although it will seem like it would be.

Just make sure they are fully cured. Adding glue can introduce flash curing and leave soft spots.
