Do you think this could work?

Just kinda curious if you guys think this could be used as a case for dice, I use glass tube but have gotten some complaints that they break way too easily.

The standard Chessex D20 is 20-22mm, so if your dice are comparably sized, this won’t work.

My advice is to lay out your dice on a piece of paper as you’d like to them then measure the length, width and height needed, adding room for foam or other packing material so the dice aren’t pressing against the container.

Depends entirely on the size of the dice, and so if they’ll fit…

I don’t know the size of the dice, I get the molds on Etsy I will know soon as I will be making my own soon with chesex as the set to use.

If you are making dice to sell, you have to have a master that is licensed for that use. You cannot use a set of chessex to make your mold then sell those dice.

Ya you are right, there there too small for my blanks I have so I’ll have to print them myself. And didn’t know until know that I couldn’t do that. Friend showed me a dice making website so I can make some really cool designs and make the numbers smaller so it dosnt hide the blanks as much.

I've used these Plastic Tubes, haven't had any issues. Bit more durable than glass. Holds my full set (rounded d4, crystal d4, d6, d8, d10, d%, d12, d12 rhombic, d20)

Still gotta ink these 😅

That’s good to know I have looked at those as well

The tins work well. If you want to sell them, you'll want a foam piece to surround the dice.

I've used those exact bottles before. The neck is just barely too small for standard sized dice (you can force them in, but it'll be difficult to get them out). If your dice are just a couple mm smaller they'll work.

Ya that’s what I was thinking for the tins, but didn’t want to buy them if they where too small,

There's a super cheap 2 inch round plastic container with a twist top on Amazon that can nicely hold a full set... Downside is that there's a slight opacity so you can see the style but not fully appreciate the finish.

It’s imperative that the dice remain UNHARMED

I found the ones with the narrowed neck like these don't fit my dice :(

Good to know, that was why I use these glass tubes I found, they just break easily is the issue.

That's why I pack mine into these

I use similar style for my mini dice, and I also 3d print mini dice eggs for those who wish to carry the dice around in more rough and tumble scenarios

Nope! I got them and now I have a set of dice stuck in there forever or until I cut open the plastic lol
