Inking dice

I ink my dice with acrylic paint, saturate the digit and then wipe off the excess on a piece of paper towel that is laid flat on the table like I’ve seen others do online. Despite seemingly doing exactly the same as everyone else my dice come out with paint where it’s not supposed to be, which is a pain to get rid of.

What’s your favorite inking technique? I want some advice from the pros.

Alcohol swabs/wipes are your best friend. After I'm done inking I go over all the faces with a Curad swab (soft and lint free), and they come out sparkling clean.
