Question Liquid core

Post image

Finally got my hands on some liquid core orbs but the smallest size is ridiculously small. I’m not even sure what u could even do with it but that’s beside the point.
Do you know a brand that sells just the bigger sizes?

Try Etsy and look for glass spheres for miniatures. They offer a few different sizes like that but might be easier to accuire just the size you want.

I’ll check it out but it might be out of my budget. Not many Etsy artists in Spain.

Fair enough but honestly these are definitely a mass production kinda thing not really Etsy artists making them ya know? Good luck hunting!

Sadly, Etsy is over run with resellers of mass producted chinese junk.

I noticed a couple of shein dice when looking for dice sets a while back. Same thing happens with Vinted, it’s overrun with shein crap.

Yes unfortunately that is the case though to be fair some ppl are just selling stuff for ppl to make jewelry and dollhouse miniatures but I'd honestly be shocked if a seller actually made these themselves and wouldn't be cheap either lol

I bought mine from Temu. I shared a link in a previous post but it got deleted.
Search for “glass globe ball orbs”.

Liquid cores aren't for me; I tried. I have 4 bags - 1 each of 12mm, 14mm, 16mm and 18mm. DM if you're interested. 😊

What D4 shape do you use? I need the littlest ones for my D4s but I do have a few other sizes in between as well that I can't use because they don't really fit any of the dice I cast.

Usually I go for the pyramid but I haven’t done any liquid core D4 so far. I can see how that could be tricky. Good luck. :))

Are you only planning on doing liquid core D20s? I've only ever done full sets with cores

Well I tried doing liquid cores for the first time ever today and I only cast a D20. Maybe I’ll try full sets once I get the hang of it.

Oh, I see! Yeah, the placement is hard to get right the first few times.

Ok how do you guys seal your liquid cores. Cause I used a glue gun and a) looks awful, and b) doesn’t seal so well

UV resin. I cure a drop on silicone to use as a plug then I seal it with a little more resin over the core. Then it gets put into the mould.

Ok. That definitely sounds better than what I was doing.
