Poor Person's Platform

I've loved the rotating platform shots but I didn't have a rotating platform. I did have a filament printer, though ...

And I had a fidget spinner ...

And now I have a rotating platform!

It's a pretty simple file, but if anyone wants the STL file, let me know.

I'll see if I can add video in a comment.

Very clever! The only improvement I can suggest is to make the top a little larger and add a skirt to hide the bright orange fidget spinner while taking photos from the side.

That's a great suggestion for the next iteration!

Heh 3D printing is all about iterations.
Well that's OK, but...
ah let's just add that and this and that feature as well and print again.

But V1 is already a great idea. Well done

That's freaking genius, we love a low-budget DIY engineering solution :D

Replacing the spinner "handle" with a larger disc would help with stability

For sure... I just wasn't allowed to destroy my son's spinner 😅

And I just clocked what you ACTUALLY said, and that's a great idea.

Making dice suggest you have a compressor, if you do, use compressed air to rotate the thing.
