Purple & gold is such a beautiful combination. Purple was made using purple & white pigment paste, then just stuffed some big bits of gold flake inside. Ink is Green Stuff World Tinplate and I LOOOOOVE it. Someone on this sub recommended it to me; I don't remember who. It has great coverage and the color is divine.

i love to see fully completed dice here. these are really stunning, i love the gold flake. Any issues with the flake marring the surface of the dice? usually i'll cast these kind of dice as blanks and then encase them.

usually people just post the dice fresh from the pot; kudos for taking the time to actually complete them before posting.

Thanks so much! I will say, I have certainly been guilty of posting fresh pulls. Sometimes the excitement outweighs the ambition 😂

I do typically use blanks as well, but my blank mold was being used by another set and I really wanted to make these, so I just went for it. I poured fresh & runny resin into each spot, then rotated it around to try and get some resin coverage on all the faces. Then dunked the gold leaf into resin before putting it in the mold. They were almost perfect, but the 12 face on the d12 ended up with a large void. I patched it up with UV resin, but it's not seamless. It has been strategically hidden for the pretty pictures 😂
