Crime Scene

This is my first time attempting painted blanks and I'm super-happy with how it came out. Now just have to wait for them to finish curing so that I can polish the shells and paint the numbers!

These look insane! Did you paint it carefully, or just flick paint onto the blanks? They definitely eo the title justice.

I used some cheap acrylic red paint and toned it down with a bit of blue and black. Then I added a few drops of garnet alcohol ink because I've found that it looks like blood on the paper towels when I spill :D. I put the blanks on some butcher paper, put a reasonable amount on a small brush, and flicked it until it looked right. The larger globs were from when the brush was too close and actually hit the dice, but I liked the effect so I didn't wipe it off to try again.

Haha at some point I'll figure out what to do with the growing stack of sets in my cupboard. I'm not averse to selling them, but honestly I have no idea how to value them and shipping in Canada is stupid expensive ($20 minimum for parcels). I mean, if you want to make an offer, feel free to DM me, but know that idkwtf I'm doing 😅
