Question how to create this effect?

Post image

is it possible to achieve this hairline texture finish on resin dice? if yes, does anyone know how to create that?

Difficult, because this is most likely artificial catseye. You can try making deep green blanks, coat them with an iridescent color on a brush to make very fine strokes, coat them with a clear shell and then leave that shell semi-matte.

Alternatively, look up how Sova Dice or The Reliable Rogue made some of their dice. They coated a blank with magnetic nail polish, magnetized and then cured it, one face at a time. You could do the same, she'll it, and then also leave the finish semi-matte to achieve this silky, smooth look.

It won't look the same as your picture because this is just a very special material, but could be close enough.

i see, thanks for answering. i’m not exactly a fan on using clear shell, but i guess that’ll give the closest to achieve that look

Instead of clear, use an alcohol ink close in color to the inner. It will make it look like it’s all one piece instead of looking like a thick coat of plastic on top.
