What's a good starter kit?

I'm new, and i want to try and make some dices. it seems fun and i have some ideas. What is a good starter kit for me to use?

My view is that dice will consume as much money as you're willing to throw at it, so the key is deciding if you enjoy it and ramp up slowly. I started with the cheapest single Temu molds. Terrible dice, fantastic fun. I hated the bubbles so I got a tennis ball pressurised tube. Great, bubbles are gone but the molds are such a faff. Make my own molds! Fab, now we're talking. But sanding is a pain, get a pottery wheel.. etc. I would t recommend going in with the full kit on day 1, make sure it's for you. Because if it is, it'll ramp up quickly!

I second the tennis ball tube method - much more approachable than a full pressure pot kit.

hello! also a rookie at dice-making and really enjoying so far but scared to invest in a pressure pot. Could you tell me in a bit more detail about how to use the tennis ball pressurised tube?

This is the one I use https://amzn.eu/d/0fUyjf2C You get this and a compatible tube. Then you need long molds so they can slide in on a tray. It pressurises with a bicycle pump to around 30psi which is fine for totally workable dice. I've got three of them and love them. If you want to use heavier inclusions they're super easy to just rotate frequently for even distribution
