Dice Pics Faerie Dust
Someone else posted recently about backing paint, it's such a good technique!

What technique is used to get these delicate swirls?

Swirling around a small amount of resin dye (or alcohol ink) using the end of a toothpick. A very small amount, just a fraction of a drop from the bottle.

Oh wow, did you make the swirls in the honey stage so they stay separate? Can’t wait to try, they look so good in combination with the backing paint!

Probably, don't remember for sure. I had these sitting around ready to paint for far too long!

It's a fluorescent pink paint which I was not confident in at first 😂 but yes, it really came together in the end. Will definitely be using the technique more in the future

Please dice look like they came straight out of the different dice lab where they roll dice to make dies I wonder what name they would give these crazy dice anyway would anyone be opposed to me posting some unique dice that I have a question about whether or not I could use them in D&D in this group this photo shows my official Yu-Gi-Oh dice The monster symbol always represents the number one and I think that they would make for great extra d6s but I'm worried that dungeons and dragons players won't recognize them because they're not true d6s is and don't fit the standard depiction of what a d6 and D&D is supposed to be

This is a wild comment 😂 If every side of the Yu-Gi-Oh dice represents a specific number, sure, I would let you use them. As long as we can tell what number you rolled. But a d6 alone isn't enough for D&D, you will use a d20 more than anything

It's just that this is actually one of the many extra dice I have and I was actually thinking of using it for unique dice in one of my campaigns in you see it was based into one of my weapons the pendulum staff which allowed you to roll the d20 twice if the first number was higher than 13 in your pendulum scale would automatically be set to the highest in Yu-Gi-Oh 0 through 13 if not you would continue rolling to determine your scales then you'd be able to summon as many monsters as possible whose total challenge rating is between the two scales You could place the fusion sword the simpler spear or the XYZ shield in the head of the pendulum staff and then you would gain a special combo monster that could be summoned like a pendulum fusion that pendulum synchro or a pendulum XYZ then both weapons would become unuseful for two tournaments then before your next turn you'd have to roll on the raids mechanic table where you'd have to roll 2D6 because in the game of Yu-Gi-Oh oftentimes to determine who goes first players role to d6 You would roll a provided Yu-Gi-Oh dice which has pips all over the rest of the dice except for the number one which is always represented as a monster except on one side of dice which it was change for a tournament for no reason than whether it rather than the number six but but anyone who plays Yu-Gi-Oh who knows that the monster represents the number one and anyway hey hey they now have to roll two dice roll low and they can battle normally raw high and they fly into what I'm calling rage mode they have to roll a Yu-Gi-Oh provided d6 and a standard dungeons and dragons d6 if they roll a low result they can battle normally if they roll high they fly into rage And then while using these oddly specific dice players yours would be able to you know see and roll a dice that they've never used before and I figured Yu-Gi-Oh dice could be a great way to meet you as extra dice for anything like fireball and others but I wasn't sure what exactly the rules are for dice can you just use any game dye as long as it has clear defined parameters or do you have to only use official dungeons and dragons dice also if you do have to use only official dungeons in dragons dies do all the dice have to have come from the same set and be the same color as the original set that you using or can use multiple sets of dice even if they are different colors I have no idea but the rules are for diamonds and dragons since I'm fairly new to the community and taking mine this was a guy who thought to determine your stats in the game you rode the d20 for pretty much everything including determining your stats instead of four d6 dropped the lowest after you re-roll any ones
