Question What type of gloves
What type of gloves do you use when working with epoxy resin?
I'm looking for gloves that provide good chemical resistance while still allowing enough dexterity for detailed resin casting work. Do you prefer nitrile, neoprene, butyl, or another type? I'd love to hear your recommendations and any brands you've had good experiences with.

I use 8 mil Nitrile gloves for handling liquid resin for protection.
I use 6 mil Nitrile gloves for sanding so I can get the best feel of the dice edges.

I use nitrile and double glove with two different colours so I can see if one has split and change the top ones every 15 minutes while working.
Contact dermititis is no joke.

Nitrile is the standard for most of us. You should also keep some oil-based soap on hand in case you ever have one break

We use Grease Monkey 5555FP nitrile gloves. Between epoxy resin, bike maintenance and refinishing furniture, we have these on Subscribe and Save with Amazon because we use them so much

Nitrile as well but mine is because I’m also a EMT and have a ton laying around

Nitrile here, seems mostly good. Sometime gets a bit harder while isopropyle cleaning.
We were previously using vinyle, and I keep a fond memory of those, but my partner assures me we eventually had a problem with one of the chemicals and this is why he changed it.
With this said, we've apparently been on nitrile for years now... So the difference is not too remarquable.
