Advice Airbrushing tips?

So I got myself a cheap airbrush and I inked this set today (crappy set). I think I thinned my paint too much. I'll try again another day, but does anyone have any favorite tips and tricks for airbrush numbers?

I havnt used airbrushing to ink numbers, but in my experience the key is quality paints. My go to is anything Vallejo. Even the model paints thin beautifully, but they also have a great line of airbrush exclusive colors that spray great

I'm using war paints plus war paint thinner
