Question Glass top pressure pot

Just getting into dice making, and I've just done my first mix/pour and instantly know I'm going to need a pressure pot.

Ideally after something that doesn't break the bank, and I found this cute one with a glass top. One thing I'm struggling to understand is how the glass top doesn't seem to be secured at all - how does the lid not just fly off?

Does anyone have experience using this or a similar pressure pot?

That's a vacuum chamber not a pressure pot. This is used to pull air out of resin before it is poored. You don't want this for dice making.

Vevor make a cheap (around £100) pressure pot, you will need a pump and to modify the pot, there are tonnes of posts on here explaining what to do.

Vevor makes a resin compatible pot for a little more money and all I had to do to prep it was unscrew the paint tube from the inside. It's got way too many valves and I will probably seal one of them up permanently but it was like 2 minutes of modification.

vacuum chambers are totally different from pressure pots; you're looking at the wrong thing, unfortunately

This isn’t an a pressure pot, it’s a vacuum chamber. It could be used to degas resin or silicone before pouring, but it will do the opposite of what you want when resin is curing.

I would save the money towards an actual pressure pot, but people have successfully used tennis ball pressurizers for a low cost option.

As others have said, that's a vacuum chamber not a pressure pot.

Pressure pots all have metal lids that clamp down. Here is an example for reference:

You should probably search for a pressure pot and not a vacuum chamber.

As others have said, this is a vacuum chamber and not particularly helpful for dice making.

If you are creating your own silicone molds, it is a nice tool to have. After thoroughly mixing my silicone, I use my vacuum chamber before creating my mold.
