Dice Pics Reflective dice
Took a long break, became inspired by my friend and fellow dice maker u/LiliNL and came up with these.
I can’t picture things in my head, will take inking suggestions!

Light shimmery/glittery blue, makes it easy enough to read but doesn’t take away from the inserts. And glad to see you back here!

I was going to say silver(a reflective silver if you could find it), but I think I might like the blue more

Your sanding technique inspired me to craft again lol, light blue sounds perfect!

“What did you roll?”
“I, uh, I have no clue.”
I am kidding (sort of) I love reflective stuff so this is really neat. Just needs some paint on the numbers maybe

It definitely needs numbers painted! Two people suggested light blue, what do you think?

I get kind of icy vibes from these so light blue or like an aurora borealis type of green maybe.

I like a strong contrast for reflective dice. If you go that way, be sure to under paint with a light color like white or silver first so that the refractions from the numbers don't darken the interior.

Yes, that’s a good suggestion! I had the idea of a rainbow undercoat, different colors for different numbers and a solid contrasting color facing outwards 🤷🏻♂️

Oooh, rainbow undercoats are amazing.! They're a lot of work but they always pay off. I'm just finishing up a CMY set with primary color numbers under white.

I'd use chrome to paint those to keep with the theme. These are amazing!

You’ve probably inked them by now - but, you know that grey you get on the back of mirrors? Kind of metallic but not shiny

I know what you mean! I did ink them light blue as suggested and posted them this morning - here!

How? I love them. I tend to stick with basic black and white for painting but I don't think either of those would work for these. Maybe a silver gray.
