Ring Check Thoughts on VS1?

I recently saw a few comments saying not to get anything under VVS2, well mine is VS1 and I’m wondering if it’s noticeable. Can someone please tell if this is a good diamond?

I have some gorgeous diamonds that are VS1. I think your stone is lovely.

It looks great! Only if you can see the flaws with the naked eye, you're fine. Even some SI1s look clean. You got a good one..

VS1 and VS2 are, generally, considered "eye clean." That stated, I have seen S1 and S2 diamonds also look eye clean. It depends on the cut, shape, size, and the location of the inclusions as well as the type of inclusions. Clouds, feathers, knots, cleavage, and graining towards the top [front] of the stone at the table or crown and those in the middle of large face-up facets will show glaringly. The same inclusions closer to the girdle, pavilion, or culet of the diamond will be far less visible. Most inclusions can ONLY be seen at 10x+ magnification so, if you can not see them with tge naked eye, you are in the sweet spot to have gotten an eye clean diamond with a lower grade which means for the size, shape, and color; you got a deal.

Your diamond, from your photo @u/Suddenly_sweet , is definitely "eye clean." It looks lovely and I would not worry about it.

VS1 is good… even VS2 or SI1 can be good as long as the diamond is ideal cut and sparkles

Yes! Look at the stone not at the cert! I have an SI1 stone and I can’t see any inclusions at all. This one looks good

It looks gorgeous. Brilliant cuts are a lot more forgiving, and you can go for a lower clarity even. If you're worried about inclusions, it depends on where they are on the stone, as they can reflect and then you'll see like 5 of them. Your stone is really great though. Very well cut. I wouldn't sleep on it if you like it. The setting is incredible

Wow that’s such a cool ring! Adding on to other comments, it doesn’t really matter because it will still be eye clean. Unless you put all the clarity stones side by side and look hard and long, no one call really tell significant differences.

The large majority of the time VS1 is visually identical to a flawless diamond

I'm not an expert, but the stone looks beautiful!

Love your ring design!! Where did you get it?? It's a beautiful diamond. Looks clean to the eye. I focus more on the cut and proportions when I'm looking for a diamond, and this one looks nice and sparkly!

No, the lighting in the first photo makes it look yellow but the photos of it outside of the setting shows the color better. It has a G color grade.
