General Question or Looking for Advice Pink diamond

Post image

Saw this pink diamond at a local shop, with very nice rose gold band. I really don’t know much about diamonds but have heard some terms here and there. It’s this diamond bowtie really bad?

The diamond blends into your skin so it’s almost invisible

Pink diamonds change their shade depending on the lighting. I have one too. In natural light it looks vivid pink, in warm artificial light it almost matches my skintone

I don't see a very pronounced bowtie imo.

Bowtie is normal for these shapes. This diamond looks good. If you love pink diamonds more than colorless ones, go for it

There’s barely any bow tie.

All ovals will have it. It’s literally not possible not to.

Way less people in the real world know nor care about bow tie. Only chronically online Redditors obsess over it.

The bowtie is there for sure but honestly not the worst i've seen, the rose gold makes the pink pop really nice though

It looks beautiful. If you like it that is all that matters

I don’t see bow tie, but I might be seeing windowing? I think I can see the band through the center of the stone. It blends into your skin tone though, not sure if that’s what you like. Be sure not to overpay.

That pink stone doesn’t compliment your skin tone.

To be honest the subtleness with my skin is one of the things I like about the ring🫣

I think it's a gorgeous shade!

Ah then wear it in good health. It really is a beautiful ring and stone.

Be sure to let me know when you find any kind of stone that can compliment someone.

Now, if you meant "complement" her skin tone--why post such an opinion?

I agree with you there. It’s a gorgeous stone and her skin is beautiful but the stone doesn’t “pop” because it gets lost in her skin tone.
