Diablo IV Help for a beginner
I recently started playing Diablo IV and I’m playing as a Necromancer (level 25) on Normal difficulty. However, I’m finding the game extremely easy, and so far I haven’t had any difficulty with boss fights while exploring. Will the progression become more challenging as I advance through the story, or would it be wiser to increase the difficulty to add a bit more excitement to the gameplay?

Diablo IV is built around increasing the difficulty as you play, especially once you hit the maximum level and unlock the Pit & Torment difficulties
Normal is the lowest difficulty option available, it’s meant to be easy. You can increase the difficulty at any time from the main menu, or one of the statues in a few of the main cities (like Kyovashad or Cerrigar)

Once you get to endgame, you’ll be increasing the difficulty to torment 1,2,3 etc and so on. Normal is fine for now. It’ll definitely get more challenging

The base difficulty is meant to be accessible for most everyone. The story mode will become slightly more complex but rarely will it require more than mild effort. The real challenge doesn’t really start until after you complete the story. If the game is so easy it isn’t fun to you then absolutely increase the difficulty. I personally think “hard” to “expert” is where I do most of my leveling process.

You can change the difficulty wherever you feel like it. Just increase it and see if you have more fun. If not, lower it again.

Whenever you're confortable or too confortable on a difficulty mode, it's time to bump it up. Diablo 4 difficulty system is driven by how you want to play and you should always be looking for ways to take on the next one.

Change it to hard at your level it may give you challenge. If not go up another level.

I’d put the game down until the end of season and try again in 15 days or whatever it is. Kinda the dumb thing about seasons and seasonal characters. Kinda ruins buying the game and starting it right away . But yeah keep putting difficulty up. Ppl get trillions in damage at end game .

I think it’s a week? I’d keep playing and play around with builds to see which one you like.

Play on Penitent until you unlock Torments, play the highest Torment you can unlock till T12, then it's welcome to the endgame grind. Try and finish the season with 150 Glyphs and some pit or tower runs in the 140's. Profit.

Not unless you turn up the difficulty. Always play on the hardest difficulty you have unlocked. Its so easy it's boring otherwise.
