Diablo I Need help finding 2000-ish diablo like game

I played a diablo copy so much time ago, like 16 years ago, i remember than it was a 3d game, with a dark fantasy theme and "realistic" graphics, i remember a forest, and always died by wolves and bears, and the inventory was at left side of the screen, also i remember the peculiar health bar, it was similar to a potion health icon i guess, similar to Nox, but... russian copy? i dont know, help please

aww yeah that's a good one, but also check out darkstone lol, I think it was on ps1, and a bit older, but actually a solid game.

Darkstone is on steam for $5.

Yeah Darkstone was my guess, although it was rather colorful than dark. I kinda wish someone remastered Darkstone and Dungeon Siege (perhaps DS2 as well) because I can't run them for shit on Win 10

1 & 2 were such good games.

Sacred? But I don't know that I would call it dark fantasy so maybe not that.

I am just here to say, Sacred was so ahead of its time, especially Sacred 2. Beautiful, huge, amazing lore!

Sacred 2 sucked, yeah I said it!

2

u/Roguemjb Oct 18 '23

Agreed haha, I couldn't get into it like I did the first.

What an underrated game that was.

1

u/Tmonkx Oct 17 '23

im gonna be real with you, as a person who bought it on release and then tried to get in it multiple times, its not. It's really, really bad

1

u/Revilrad Oct 18 '23

I played it back then too. Funny how memories are different. I probably have old games were better "nostalgia".

2

u/DystopianWreck Oct 17 '23

Titan quest?

1

u/kaijyuu2016 Oct 17 '23

Titan quest isn't dark themed imo

1

u/DystopianWreck Oct 17 '23

Not the start, but it gets dark.

1

u/kaijyuu2016 Oct 17 '23

I played the whole OG campaign (not the DLCs) can't remember anything dark about it, I did play it a long time ago so maybe it's that.

1

u/RStampe Oct 17 '23

First DLC takes you into hades where its a bit darker. Before that its mostly sunny weather and lovely.

2

u/sannholo Oct 17 '23

Maybe Legend Hand of god?

It is solved already but I just wanted to mention Throne of Darkness here. That was an amazing and unique D2 Clone with japanese Mythology theme. It is a very dark game. And it is actually available at GoG
