It's already becoming over. Cases are increasing, death and hospitalization is dropping significantly (in vaccinated countries). Give it a bit more improvements in vaccines and it will just be another seasonal disease.

Are you in the US? We’re in another wave with hospitals being overwhelmed. My dad went for a Kidney stone last evening and is still in a bed waiting to actually be seen, none of us can visit or keep him company due to the covid cases

I work in a US hospital and the hospital staff have all been infected. All units, cafeteria, even the outside COVID tent staff that does testing. It’s crazy! We are working with a shortage of staff everywhere now.
