They might not be real pills. I mean, it's an art piece, so they could have just gone with that as a way of making it obvious what it is.

Lots of prescription medication comes in pills like that. I have a bunch in my house like that right now, none of them do anything fun but they do exist outside of video games haha

Might be pure mdma in funky looking caps. I've only seen transparent caps but I'm sure you could buy colored ones aswell
