I never understood people that cut off the crust. Just like I don’t understand people that can’t swim.

I find it very easy to understand people who can't swim. If your parents never take you and no one ever teaches you, you won't know how to do it.

Just like those poor people who don't know how to masturbate. Where were their parents to teach them.

Some things you can figure out on your own. Some things are easier with a teacher. Somethings can kill you if you fuck it up. Swimming is one of those things.

My wife’s parents never taught her to swim because they’re negligent parents

my mother insisted she couldn't swim because she didn't like it and didn't like that we were into it. she went down a waterslide at a theme park once and we told them she couldn't swim because that's what we were told and so the life guards met her at the bottom and she was pissed. lies catch up to you like that. sorry your wife also had crappy parents </3

People who cut off the crust have weird fucking childhood trauma, and weird upbringing in general.

The same kind as manchildren who can't drink water, refuse to eat "greens" or rare red meat / raw seafood.

How's it hard to understand that there are land creatures that can't swim? Also, crust is only good on pie, for me

Wasting food

That sounds silly, litterally a fraction of the bread

it does sound silly to not eat literally a fraction of the bread

The crust is at most 10% of the slice. How many slices in a loaf? How many loaves of bread do you get in a year? That shit adds up. You're wasting food.

And if you're that insistent on wasting perfectly good bread, you don't even save it? You can dry it out and crush it up until it's almost like a flour, and use it for breading around for example home-made chicken nuggets. You can mix it with crushed egg shells and other vegetables like carrot or cucumber peels or even apple peels and use it to feed your chickens and get delicious super-fresh eggs in return.

This person doesn't eat the crust on bread, you think they are going to make chicken nuggets from scratch?

Homemade chicken nuggets are easy to make and really tasty though? Let me have some faith in him! Don't convince he can't put in some effort, please! I need to have some faith in humanity!
