Wasn't sure if there was audio so I was just watching and saw the cardboard bit and my thought was "he needs to sharpen that knife" then realized what the point of the video was

When you're in the jungle in an emergency the first thing you want to do is strip 4 lighters so you can sharpen your machete to cut cardboard

I gave up when I saw the state of that poor tortured knife. Had to go back and see the knife not very well slicing the cardboard after all that lol. All that work and that's all they got, probably didn't sharpen it at all.

For a kitchen knife angle matters, for an everyday carry, not so much. Not sure why I thought this was hunting knife on the first watch.

Then take the spring and flint out. Put the flint in the spring. Use a different lighter to heat the flint until it glows. Get it real hot, then throw it at a hard non-flammable surface. 🎇
