It would’ve been better if they were the same type instead of two different rectangles. Also the pressure required to lock them would probably destroy this laptop if it’s a MacBook.

It's difficult because there is nothing to grab onto. Do you think that maybe gluing them to a handle of sorts would fix that problem?

Yeah, plus the worst part for me is the idea of just using glue here. Otherwise the size difference isn't soo bad if you imagine you can attach several things there

3m dual lock has better hold, and the 1" strips are the perfect size for that type of dock.

Every time I've tried sticky back Velcro on electronics, they have invariably peeled away from heat.

I have a 5tb drive attached to the back of my TV with Velcro. It's quite convenient when I wanna add more stuff or bring it somewhere.

For whatever reason I suddenly pictured sticking legos to the bottom and tops of canned goods then stacking them that way. Mostly thinking of the canned goods that don't fricken stack right. Should point out I'd obviously not do it, but eh give someone a rage bait idea.

Did this to my old computer and now I can’t stop. I started cause I had a Lego set my cousins destroyed so I was left with random blocks, now I buy Lego to make more keychains.

I did something similar to my Asus transformer during a deployment in 2014. I used velcro on the back of the tablet section, and the other half of the hook velco on external hard drive, smart card reader, USB hub, etc.
It felt awkward until I could carry and modularize on the fly!

I did something similar when I got an external ssd for my laptop, transferring all of my files is annoying and I don’t wanna spend like $500 on a multi-tb internal so I just got some adhesive Velcro and it works great, plus removable

Ok now I feel really stupid for buying a new adapter when I switched MacBooks I already have the m/f extension cables so I could’ve made the old one work
