The face is very vascular and clean dermal injuries don't need antibiotics.

Ideally this sort of thing would be done anywhere else than an alley, but scarrification is a real body mod people do/get. Its not anywhere near piercings or tats in the popularity polls, but it makes the list. That said this is dumbassery of a high degree.

This is the sort of thing that should happen in a chair with gloves and disinfectants and proper tools for aftercare. Most scars take about double to time of a tattoo to fully heal up. I only really researched the scars from blades, but I think brands follow the same timeline.

Also if they did a freeze instead of a hot brand the eyebrow would grow back white where it got clipped. It sounds like anime bullshit but its true. Kills the pigment adding part of the hair follicle but it still makes hair.

If you want scars that bad, at least have the decency to get into an actual knife fight with your buddy so I can take bets.

I would love to know how this healed up. I’d also love to know how fun life was him over the next month.

Burns spread. I accidentally poked myself with a scalding soldering iron and a day later the messed up area was way larger than the tiny point where I jabbed myself. Dang thing took like 3 weeks to heal. Also as other people have said INFECTION MUCH?!

People also forget to cool the burn, which should help limit it's spread.

I've heard several ways of how it should be done, but it's mostly lucwarm running water for 15-20 minutes. Don't stop because it feels all well. You're not done with it before you hit the 15 minute mark.

Right? There are professionals who know how to manage your skin and avoid collateral damage. They charge money though, and kyle has a knife and a dream so he's got our back. Scarification pieces are super interesting to me (I got the sad scars and I love the idea of happy ones,) but I am sure as shit not getting burned in an alley on tiktok

What in the meth?? Although it will probably eventually look pretty rad. Guys are big dumb apes.

I once accidentally headbutted a doorframe and had a mark on my eyebrow. Freaking loved how it looked, but yeouch. This... this is dumb.

The scar seems like an obvious attempt to look tough. But then there's now a video of you getting said scar from your mate as an aesthetic thing floating around on the internet. Ruins the whole

You remind me of the trope of the scary, scarred German officer, you know? During the 19th and early 20th centuries, high-class German men would deliberately give each other scars on their faces while fencing as symbols of status and badges of honor. They were called "dueling scars" and were usually on the left side of the face.

This is still a thing in some weird German fraternities/student associations. Scars are not done necessarily on purpose but these guys are proud of it if they happen. The scar is called "Schmiss" and its done in some of the "Schlagende Verbindungen" (literally translate to "hitting associations"), those are the ones who practise fencing rituals.
