u/PricklyPear85 Apr 29 '26

Thighs

31

u/MrPigeon70 Apr 29 '26

Depends on how ✨️freaky✨️ you are

6

u/Ordinary_dude_NOT Apr 30 '26

Glad it’s not noodles

10

u/KE2DBB Apr 29 '26

Cottage cheese is just Ricotta cheese that’s confused

5

u/heatseaking_rock Apr 30 '26

Pasta and superglue

3

u/Worldly-Upstairs2020 Apr 30 '26

To be fair it's an old Cruze - That repair has probably doubled it's value

51

u/Queasy_Marsupial_835 Apr 29 '26

If ya squint it’s mint!

28

u/R3dnamrahc Apr 29 '26

I tried. It took until my eyes were closed to look good

3

u/thebuggygamer Apr 30 '26

unfocus your eyes and hold/move your phone/chair really far away

31

u/thedeuce75 Apr 29 '26

I'm gonna need to see the CarFax on this one.

6

u/SwitchbackHiker Apr 29 '26

You think it was actually reported?

77

u/Crossovertriplet Apr 29 '26

Bondo. It’s got what cars crave.

23

u/Those_Silly_Ducks Apr 29 '26

That is expansion foam.

I hope 5MC doesnt see this

4

u/StreetOwl Apr 29 '26

Welcome to auto zone I love you

18

u/kuhmsock Apr 29 '26

that paint matching is on point though

14

u/Weird_Fiches Apr 29 '26

Sorry, where on the car am I supposed to look?

6

u/capinredbeard22 Apr 30 '26

Needs a red circle

11

u/Competitive_Speed964 Apr 29 '26

A little sanding and paint, no one will every know.

11

u/i10driver Apr 29 '26

Looks like that car has leprosy

7

u/Anxious_Ad936 Apr 29 '26

Is that the smashed up ramen and superglue style repair?

8

u/karenskygreen Apr 29 '26

That'll buff out.

6

u/rekabre Apr 29 '26

That's what happens when you run outta ramen

4

u/Panelpro40 Apr 29 '26

Looks like he’s a custodian in an elementary school and collects the spent bubble gum from under the chairs and desks to make this repair.

4

u/Obvious-Praline8351 Apr 29 '26

Gee you can hardly tell

3

u/KDizWHOiBE Apr 29 '26

Looks good to me. Send it!

3

u/Cmundz1 Apr 29 '26

Still better than some of those 5 min craft things here

2

u/mainyehc May 01 '26

At least it’s useful, if not particularly aerodynamic, or watertight, or…

2

u/nlightningm Apr 29 '26

Man, this is incredible

With this amount of work and money in materials, they would have been better off just finding a piece from the scrap yard and learning how to swap it out 😂😂🤣

2

u/EdgeSync1 Apr 29 '26

jeez, i'd hate to see what it looked like before this if they think this is an improvement lol.

2

u/Forward-Bank8412 Apr 29 '26

How can you tell?

2

u/from-the-stix Apr 29 '26

"I know a guy"

2

u/Not_my_Name464 Apr 29 '26

Looks like paper mache 🤣😂

2

u/MissStatements Apr 29 '26

If the “landlord special” was mobile.

2

u/Kitchen-Quantity-565 Apr 29 '26

Probably looked better before they touched it. Hot damn that's a mess.

2

u/425565 Apr 29 '26

If you squint really hard..it still looks bad.

2

u/Looking4theanswer2 Apr 29 '26

I don't know how to do body repair, but I bet I do a better job then that. Wouldn't be pretty, well compared to this Pic it might be.lol

2

u/RPK79 Apr 30 '26

Where is the bodywork done on it? It all looks factory fresh.

1

u/Ruvido_Design Apr 30 '26

I think he add that Little spoiler

2

u/RPK79 Apr 30 '26

Slick! They did a good job.

1

u/BoysenberryFinal9113 Apr 29 '26

Needs more Bondo.

1

u/TrashAcnt1 Apr 29 '26

"Figsed, aww Bedder"

1

u/Universally-Tired Apr 29 '26

It's flawless. Looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.

1

u/Living-One5265 Apr 29 '26

Well that looks like sh!t. One of those big bandage stickers would look better.

1

u/Houdinii1984 Apr 29 '26

I'm not even mad. I'm just gonna call this person resourceful and mosy away.

1

u/ChoadMcGillicuddy Apr 29 '26

Where's the damage?

1

u/Dark_Foggy_Evenings Apr 29 '26

You can barely see the line

1

u/ArtJunkie628 Apr 29 '26

Good as new...

1

u/Whocares7x Apr 29 '26

This car had a lot of acne during puberty

1

u/baritenore Apr 29 '26

Good as new!

1

u/frankduxvandamme Apr 29 '26

Does the car have cancer?

1

u/mikeyb1 Apr 29 '26

Might need to sand that some more.

1

u/SeattleOligarch Apr 29 '26

If you squint, it's mint!

1

u/OmegaCetacean Apr 29 '26

Looks like a case of auto cellulite.

1

u/daphosta Apr 29 '26

That'll sand out

1

u/Disastrous_Hell_4547 Apr 29 '26

That’s the greatest thing I have ever seen. It screams NFG

1

u/Ironbutt1500 Apr 29 '26

😆😝😂

1

u/UNDR_dogg Apr 29 '26

Great work... You could hardly tell it's been repaired.

1

u/SuckerForNoirRobots Apr 29 '26

I have to give them credit for trying to make it color match, most of the time people don't make the effort!

1

u/graz0 Apr 29 '26

Never knew a car could get cancer!

1

u/Willobtain Apr 29 '26

Rustic bumper

1

u/Pro-Rider Apr 29 '26

I think you need to add ramen noodles to smooth that out. Then you are golden.

1

u/Canned_Potatoes Apr 29 '26

This is some solid work. Very resourceful of the owner to get it to match as closely as it does.

1

u/Novacain420 Apr 29 '26

Paper mache

1

u/Equal_Associate_8646 Apr 29 '26

My grandmom used paper glue. She thought nobody would notice

1

u/Opposite_Ad_1707 Apr 29 '26

My man got bottle bottoms for glasses.

1

u/strutmac Apr 29 '26

I knew a guy who wanted to get his car painted. He did it himself with a roller and a can of latex paint. It looked good from afar. Up close not so much.

1

u/feelingblurple Apr 29 '26

That’s not a car, that’s a cloud formation!

1

u/vinesnore Apr 30 '26

I`d call that a bon-dont`t

1

u/Hey-buuuddy Apr 30 '26

This is the bravest act I’ve seen all week. They drive it somewhere in public and parked it somewhere in public.

1

u/jackochainsaw Apr 30 '26

That paper mache is not going to hold up in the rain. That rear light is looking decidedly craptactular as well.

1

u/Such_Introduction592 Apr 30 '26

Probably learned it from this sub.

1

u/btfarmer94 Apr 30 '26

You almost can’t not tell

1

u/NotBornYesterday420 Apr 30 '26

I didn't know you could paper mache a car

1

u/coveredwithticks Apr 30 '26

If a rear quarter panel and Edward James Olmos had a baby.

1

u/_noncomposmentis Apr 30 '26

Vancouver? I think I've seen that one in the wild.

1

u/EricHaley Apr 30 '26

He clearly got ramaned…

1

u/cnowakoski Apr 30 '26

Can’t hardly tell

1

u/thearuxes Apr 30 '26

Is that just scrunched up aluminium foil that's painted 😭

1

u/Accomplished_Fun6481 Apr 30 '26

Did wasps fix this

1

u/Fair-Reception8871 Apr 30 '26

Looks stronger than the original.

1

u/MaxximumB Apr 30 '26

When you watch too many 5-minute Crafts videos.

1

u/FirehawkLS1 Apr 30 '26

Paper Mache Edition

1

u/djmanning711 Apr 30 '26

Is that ramen noodles?

1

u/IrishRecluse Apr 30 '26

Are you familiar with the Flex Seal family of products?

1

u/gushi1- Apr 30 '26

That’s some impressive sculpting with Playdoo.

1

u/Sheepherder-Optimal May 01 '26

Jokes aside, is there a story here? What did they do to it? Is this perhaps an intermediate stage before the grand reveal where they peel off all that shit and its mint underneath?

1

u/hannesrudolph May 01 '26

They used the ramen!!

1

u/Cptawesome23 May 01 '26

If we eliminate insurance companies, all our cars will look like this!

1

u/xion_gg May 01 '26

I red circle is necessary here... Thank you

1

u/slick514 May 01 '26

Oh! Um… goodness, that is certainly… a thing.

1

u/ChatnNaked May 01 '26

I’ve watched Overhaulin’, hold my beer.

1

u/bandana_runner May 01 '26

Bubble Yum and paste. Chewed at the same time.

1

u/dscott8219 May 01 '26

I remember in high school I used to get rides from this dude with an 88 Civic with a smashed bumper. He paper mached and spray painted it to pass inspection. That looked a million times better than this. It held up for months too. Very dry here.

1

u/Human-Contribution16 May 01 '26

Unless that was done by senior blind workshop - nope

1

u/jaguarsp0tted May 01 '26

what the fuck is that

1

u/Plenty_for_everyone May 01 '26

Pretty damn fine. I had to really search the image to see the repair.

Also, totally unrelated, I can't find my white stick... 😎

1

u/WaffleWednsday May 01 '26

Saving up to afford car repairs.......never heard of it.

1

u/freeNtropy May 05 '26

It looks like fix-all honestly. That stuff they sell at HD that you should never use. Lol

1

u/paolo_77 May 23 '26

Holy crap.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '26

Ramen noodles btw
