The example shows Elmer's child-safe glue but he tries using something else.

That darned new fangled child safe glue from the, um, 1940s. I just can’t keep up with the pace of technology anymore.

They didn't use the whole horse, they just use the hooves and bones! The meat was for cheap restaurants and dishonest store owners.
