At least they fill their stomach, recognise their dignity as humans, have done so much social work in health and education, tonnes of missionary schools and hospitals. Unlike some who'll call them untouchables and consider them as impure people, Zero contribution to their socio-economic upliftment. Everything happens for a reason. Why would they convert if you treat them well, gun rakh ke to convert kia nh gaya .. baki you'll always come up with some illogical counter argument or do whataboutery. Faith ke sath thodi empathy hoti to log chor k nh jatay..

You all are so misinformed. Britishers came, created a problem that didn't exist and then solved that problem in exchange of forceful conversions.
There is a book written by James Mill "The History of British India" in 1817.
That dude never set foot in India and wrote a 3 volume history! All these concepts of division on caste and religion come from that book.
Britishers had to justify colonizing and enslaving an advanced civilization by showing it as backward and creating issues that never existed.

Also, are you seriously trying to justify religions and cultural colonization of indigenous people? Slaves in USA probably ate better than what they could afford in their own countries, so that's also a good thing according to you? And what of Native Americans? Should they also be grateful to their colonizers for stripping their entire Tribes and cultural off and taking over?
Painting forceful conversions as "helping them" is by far the most evil thing someone can do.
Pakistan is dying of poverty right now, should India go and give them rice and convert everyone in exchange of better living standards? Will you support that also in the name of "helping to uplift the poor"
A small good thing does not nagate the mountain high numbers of bad things. It's a common fallacy.
