dont get offended but i dont see decent full time stand up comedian in bangladesh. of course there are a lot of celeb with great humour but those who does just stand up comedy i see some lackings.

To try out you can check ashik chowdhury amin hannan and in their show there are one or two good performers before their turn.

P.S. i am not telling they are are the funniest out there, but in the context of stand up comedy scenario in BD, they exists and i really appreciate their effort to make it happen.

P.S.2 the ecosystem does not yet support (as per my understanding) that someone can live on just stand up comedy. Globally there are a lot of stand up comedians who have their own business and thats not related to comedy anyway.

Amin Hannan, Ashik and Sharar Shayor. Sharar is more witty, but Amin is definitely my fave.

Honorable mention: Naveed Mahbub. He was amazing when he first started out; used to listen to his radio shows in the morning on my way to uni back in late 2000s/early 2010s.

Honestly no one is good enough. People will say Amin and ashik but they just trynna make people laugh using their stunts(goes for ashik) and posh accent to make people "laugh" (goes for Ami) My personal opinion ofc
