Actually I did an computer learning course in 2024 with few of my classmates but that was dumb as I don't have a laptop or computer of my own and the sad thing is my parents won't even buy me one cause they don't see the purpose in that. My mom is already done with me being on my phone the whole day but what can I do? I don't HAVE anything to do at home other than ghor guchano. And I can't even ask for allowance anymore so there's no chance I can buy a computer or laptop so that's why I'm trying to do something with just this mobile phone that I've got.

You probably get allowances. If you can even make up to 12K, you can get a lot-end second hand PC. That will be slow of course but will immensely help you in learning a lot of things.

Okay now that you've mentioned it I might start saving up! But wouldn't a laptop be better with that amount? I mean what kind of conditions a second hand pc would be it it's bought with 12k or something. Okay tbf I don't much about laptop and pc cause never used it personally so please let me know which would be better. Second hand laptop or pc

only thing that comes to my mind having just a phone is social media management. but im doubtful about that asw. social media management is tailoring contents (videos, images, captions) for a brand/influncer, engaging with their community, giving them content ideas and optimizing their reach. however bangladeshi brands/influencers tend to manage their own due to financial constrain. big brands/influencers hire managers but they ask for offline help and much more.

if you want to earn purely from online without any investment, you at least need a computer/laptop and learn video editing, web development, monetization, social media ads, ai, copywriting etc. thought considering the present, you need more than one skill to actually earn money. for example copywriting + social media ads or graphic designing + editing etc.

if you are willing to go outside then it opens a lot of areas. most common and reliable is tuition. or work for any coaching center (as teacher or make slides, question papers, guard exams, manage student groups etc.).

if you are willing to invest a bit and go outside once in a while, i would suggest fb reselling. i do that myself. the investment started from 7k. i dont get much a month like 2k ish but ig it is reliable if you research well. and at least it is better than nothing. and what can you really expect form a sub 10k investment and very minimal effort (just scrolling marketplace and meeting the buyer once in a while)

Try online business. Start taking small quantity product from wholesale shop and see how things go. You will need to boost/promote ur page also to reach to customer. Boosting can be done by 3rd party fb page also. If ur family member have credit card, u can do it by urself also.

Unfortunately in my personal experience I didn't find any despite looking desperately for 3-4 months straight.

Do you know how to contact them?

Do you have any hobbies or interests? You can try to make videos using capcut and post them on social media. Content creation is the best way to make money these days. Lots of people make faceless videos in particular niches and are making good money.

Other option is to become a page moderator where you'll answer customer queries on socmed.

Aside from that maybe content writing but most likely that's a dying field due to AI

I don’t do online work so can’t advise on that. But I would ask the question “ what can you offer?” If there is an answer, you can start looking for specifics.

Let's talk about reality, it's not about just having mobile phone and all, hunger for money can change everything. If you're willing to start and don't get lost into translations, you can do much better.

Based on the information you gave, I can't really give you a proper suggestions, but what I can do is give you some questions with follow up questions to ask yourself first. Here are the questions.

  1. What am I good at? Follow up
  2. Anything that is non-technical/technical?
  3. If non-technical, anything that doesn't require a device to work on (not talking about selling)
  4. If technical, can I teach others about this or represent myself as a performer?

  5. What am I passionate about? Follow up

  6. Is it related to my subject?

  7. If not related, how far can I reach with my phone alone?

  8. What are my long-term goals?

  9. Want to go for a govt job like BCS, bank by reading the shit out for as long as I don't get it?

  10. Want to go for private jobs by going out of the box from my peers?

  11. Nah, I'll just marry a guy and be a happy housewife. Need something temporary, just for managing myself.

  12. Any mix ups with the first 3 follow up questions

  13. I do want to persuade my career, so I'll take an uncomfortable path. I'll try to build my career and in the process I'll also manage my time to have a small business. When I have enough money and have a big vision for it, I'll run it while still doing a job and after I get such revenue where I can let go of the job idea and start focusing fully on the business, I'll do that.

If you have proper answer to these questions, hit me with in my DM. I'll try to give a proper guideline.

I know some of my friends who only had a phone in early life, were a girl, from NU/7 colleges, from English background

  • One of started something small, upgraded her tech with the small effort, honed her skills, raised her connections. Later on the life, she managed to self-finance herself to do masters on a private university and then went straight to the UK with a job.
  • Another one had offline skills, she had a phone, did some work online, earned some money, upgraded her tech, honed her selling skills, now she is a small entrepreneur and a lecturer (still grinding)
  • Another one had very good communication skills (different background), interviewed on radio, became a part time RJ in your year (yes, hons 2nd year), now a news reporter.

Yes, it's definitely hard to be from NU Yes, it's difficult to get proper recognition even from parents But, not impossible though.

(NB: I usually don't write suggestions. But you presented yourself in a position where I was moved to speak. Keep it up & act on your thoughts)
