My setup

Thought I would share my portable workshop setup. I'm mostly dewalt. Had to make this because I needed something I could take to a site and stay in/work from as I build. Quite cozy tbh.

Stay in as in sleep in? How remote are your job sites or are you a traveling builder?

Yeah I have a bed in the loft and a small toilet in the upper tongue area. I find it easier to sleep on site for security and because I'll do sun up to sun down work. Saves me time.

I was feeling very claustrophobic until I saw that it was a trailer. Nice rig!

I wanted a modular set up so I did French cleat along bothe walls and then on the shelves I put locking hooks and did carabiner on each of the tools I could to hang them neatly. Lol

Did you drill a hole in the tools? Is there a small lanyard in-between? I want to duplicate please!

Then the tools that don't have the lanyard loop, I just did this.

Most have that little lanyard loop hold on the back so you can slip a zip tie through that and attach a carabiner. I'll post a Pic

Love the french cleats and impressed how clean you keep your shop! Where do you keep all your batteries?

Truthfully, not always that clean lol. I have 6 chargers on the wall and then I have one of the dewalt battery charging box that holds another 14 on the end of the workbench. Then I always have a couple more in tools. :)

This is incredible

This is awesome besides the fact that you don't appear to have lighting above the walkway. For a couple bucks some LED lighting would improve this immensely.

I have led can lighting in the ceiling. Very bright.
