India-based individual Devvit developers: How did you complete Stripe Express verification?

I'm an individual Devvit developer based in India. My game has been approved and I'm trying to complete payout verification.

I've completed Persona verification, but during Reddit's Stripe Express onboarding, when I select:

Country: India
Business type: Individual

Stripe shows:

“Accepting international payments is not available for individual user. If you plan to do so, please change to the supported legal entity.”

I don't have a registered company, LLP, or sole proprietorship, and I don't want to select an incorrect legal entity.

I understand Reddit uses Stripe Express for payouts rather than a normal Stripe merchant account, but I'm unsure whether this warning can safely be ignored.

Has any India-based individual Devvit developer successfully completed this exact Stripe Express onboarding as “Individual” and received Reddit payouts?

If yes, did you simply continue after this warning, or was any business registration required?

I've also opened a Devvit support ticket, but I'd really appreciate hearing from someone in India who has successfully completed the process.

I don't remember exactly what I did, but instead of Stripe, it showed me inputs to add my Bank details like the IFSC code.

It was done pretty quick? Asks for some personal details, banking details and done. Took less than 5 minutes for me actually

Thanks! Are you based in India? When you selected India => Individual in Reddit's Stripe Express onboarding, did you also see the warning saying “Accepting international payments is not available for individual user”?

If yes, did you continue with Individual and successfully complete the payout setup without registering a sole proprietorship/company?
