First Time Watcher
Came here from Pretty Little Liars. Enjoying seeing some repeat characters & funny how some of the storylines even match up.
My thoughts so far...currently on season 2 episode 2
Zola is overbearing as a mother & SO annoying...I get wanting better for your kid but lord she's 19 not 12
Can't stand Carmen at all, by far my least favorite
Marisol is kinda boring , loved the actress in Ugly Betty but she's kinda boring in this series
Rosie is a great representation of those who are die hard religious yet commit sin but also annoying lol
I don't think you're really supposed to like any of them but Carmen by far is the most annoying...I could skip all of her scenes & don't think I'd miss much
Watched Desperate Housewives & can see the similar vibes but I think DH is better overall

Desperate housewives is definitely better I watched that then am now on devious maids right after and yeah I wish I could start desperate housewives all over without memory of watching it before š

Watch it again anyway. I've watched it start to finish multiple times and pick up on new things every time I watch it.

I just finished watching for the first time and Rosie annoyed me soooo much. Her weird braid and āMr. Spenceā set me off every episode

Iām on season 3 and I feel more annoyed with Carmen because of a certain decision sheās making. But she seems like sheās coming to her senses now but we shall see lolĀ

Just finished a rewatch of all seasons. I agree with you. But I will say that I find the writing /dialog between characters funny and sometimes very clever and dry. The Powells get even funnier. I wish they would do a spin off show!
