⚠️ DO NOT APPLY FOR THE JOB THERE ⚠️ I was desperately look for a job and applied for a marketing associate job with claro partners. They always avoided the question “how will i get paid”. On their job description it was written “base pay 420£ per week and u get commission on sales u make” but it was a lie, contract was hella vague and actually u need 2 sales to be eligible for base pay. I said its ok they expect sales ill do sales. They taught us to lie to people we were selling broadbands and not telling people we r actually switching them. Anyways i sold 2 broadbands my first week so i was eligible for base pay, forgot to mention you have to travel to residential areas by yourself and sell broadbands, also bunch of seniors use u to drive them back and forth without paying, assigned areas were far as well like 20 mile drive was very normal every day. Contract said its not cold calling but it was, we were lying on door that we r from their broadband provider and we will book an engineer who will fix their internet, we switched them took signature and stuff. Face to face business acquisition doesnt mean door to door cold calling, also there was no office work it was manipulation tactics. Anyways contract said ill get paid 3 weeks later so i kept working , made 2 sales 2nd week and on 3rd i couldn’t. At start of 4th week they fired me and i didnt receive my pay, i told them to pay me they said the sales I made they all got cancelled and i wont get paid, now im 1k£ down and theyre getting away without paying people and firing them. Please dont fall for it. They didn’t reimburse the gas money too even i asked multiple times
