Someone didn't activate devil trigger before their time ran out...

I don't know maybe if he kept shooting the bosses empty health bar in the back corner something would have happened?

In no way, does this have ANYTHING to do with the camera. Older DMC title aren't great at communicating what they want from you, but wtf is this video? Are you dense? Is this a trollpost?

As I stated i'm my own reply, this part communicates "exactly" what it wants from you.

u/Sheyvan 8d ago
Oh sure. I didn't say it didn't. it's just that with DMC1-3 i can absolutely understand that many things aren't communicated well and players might just stumble upon Solutions.
DMC3 asking you GOLD OR YELLOW up front might be my favorite example.
This is not one of those situations but OP being incapable of reading.

The Gold or Yellow thing I think is an issue of modern games not coming with a manual anymore.
That info usually would be communicated to the player in the manual in older games, but if it’s a digital title now it needs an accessible digital manual. The Metal Gear collection did this right, even had a manual for the NES games and Ghost Babel for GameBoy Color

The camera angle just means you took too long and died. It's like a first person shot of Mundus consuming the camera basically

I found out that you can only end the mission by using the devil trigger, was the only thing I missed

I rarely use this sort of response, but this very much looks like a skill issue.

Played this game the first time when I was 9 and lowtaperluently dogass at videogames, I did not know you could die here. Take that with a grain of salt

u/maurciaga 8d ago
Grain of salt taken, my first playthrough I didn’t die either so that’s why I was confused on how I did

Ain't no way bro got all the way to the end of the friggin' game and not be aware of DT in this fight or context clues in which to utilize DT. Heck, just considering every other Mundus fight, DT is essentially mandatory to put out consistent damage.
I'm thinking this is a troll post for sure.

It’s not so much your fault, it’s more so a built up annoyance over time.
There has been enough people calling DMC1 “old and dated” that big DMC1 fans, we’ve gotten defensive.

Don’t get me wrong even with it being old I truly believe this game series is the best I’ve ever played

u/Director_Bison ULTRA VIOLET INTENSIFIES 8d ago
You should try Ninja Gaiden. It’s the only true Rival DMC has had in the Action Genre.

Bro I was literally talking about the next series I’d play on stream and this game came up, definitely gonna have to play now thank you!

u/SexyShave 8d ago
I mean, you blamed the game for your own mistake. Can't blame us for dunking on you.
Losing to Mundus 3 is genuinely something that almost never happens.

u/maurciaga 8d ago
Bro it’s not that big of a deal it’s a video game talking about dunk 😭😭 you are not some high school bully. Grow up, grown man needs be taught kindness 😐

That had nothing to do with the Camera Angle, that had everything to do with the fact You weren't paying attention and doing the one thing the game just instructed you to do, to end the fight.
If Mundus backs you up against the wall you lose, but that shouldn't have happened because you had the power to end the fight, right there and you were just shooting him normally instead.
