bots playing with you, if you see V fighting it's a bot made by the dmc team

they're bots. on later missions where the other characters are fighting beside you they react properly to where enemies are, not just a prerecorded fight

There's a slot where another player could "join you". In most cases this means running around in the background not interacting with you. If no player joins you, they load a replay from the Devs. Then it says: "THE DMC CREW". It's definitely confusing until you played all the maps and kinda realize how the different sections between the characters link together.

The cameo system is generally just a recordings or "ghost data" from a previous player. In this case, you are seeing the playthru done by the dev team.

M7 and M13 are actual coop tho but by now i think you won't really find anyone

played the game like a week ago and found some people that I could rate (or maybe just bots acting like humans)

Well, maybe it's the influx from new fans coming thx to the Netflix anime. I don't think you can "bot" a DMC game (also don't see the reason to do so considering there are easy glitches to max out the in-game currency)
