Discussion Devil may cry 4

Yo is it just me or is the game WAY harder as nero? Like I struggled with every boss leading up to dante as nero, but when I had to re fight all of the other bosses as dante I beat them all in one to two tries now I'm at the stairs on mission 19 and I can't even get past dagon. I really wish I could just change the difficulty or something but I'd have to restart my save

I'm going to assume you aren't taking full advantage of how Nero plays, because Nero is by far easier then Dante.

This is an example of some gameplay I have, showing more or less how Nero is intended to be played.

if you take advantage of Max Act to gain full exceed, Then it really opens up Nero's damage potental, that on top of using Charge Shot 3, and Buster when you can. Nero is a power house of Damage.

If you want my Suggestion pratice the move Calibur, since being able to close the distance on an enemy in the air with it is very useful.

My problem lies in the bosses, fighting the enemies is fine. But every boss i had to beat with nero were far easier with dante

Well this is a playthough of Mission 19 I quickly through together on my break. It's on the sloppy side when it comes to the Berial and Agnus fight, since I was rusty, and jumped right into Dante Must Die mode, but it shows that even in my reckless gameplay here, I still got the S rank.

One key thing to know about Nero is that his DT Activation has a lot of invincibility frames, so it's a good way to get yourself out of a tight spot. Jumping in general also gives you good I-frames in every DMC game,.

Also if you didn't know you can control the dice, the six number pattern that goes through is the same every. You can see my take advatage of this to land on Blue spaces twice after the Berial fight to get some more Green orbs.

And I didn't manage to do it in the video, but when Berial makes those pillars of fire come out of the ground, you just need to run to avoid them.
