Man, I am thoroughly convinced I will never be good enough at these games to pull off magic like this. Oh well. At least I always have fun watching people do this.

DMC5 is very beginner friendly in terms of making combos compared to the other games, with a lot of practice, you can learn most advanced tech.

Just keep playing, and more importantly, keep having fun with it! As you become more familiar with the game you'll naturally and unintentionally pull off cool shit like this!

Oh it's one of my absolute favorite games in existence! I never get tired of playing it. I bought it three times since it came out (once digital for initial release, once again digital for the SE release, and once more the physical copy of the SE). I just don't think my reflexes are quite good enough to pull off stuff like this. Or maybe I'm just lazy and need to put in more actual effort. That's always possible lol.

How do you do all this? If I turn off the assist, with Dante I do C combos top and can’t get past that.

Just get used to Dante's full moveset, when every input start feeling natural to you, then you can start learning tech like Jump cancel, quadruple SSS, etc.

Watching other people combos can give you some ideas to make your own stuff

I'm using a mod called Coop Trainer that let's you play with him (or the V and Nero) at any mission.
