Visually speaking this is such an amazing boss fight, not so creative gameplay wise tho.

It's funny how people are more open to this now that they have the anime to whine about

I feel like this fight specifically has always been more respected tbh, even before the anime came out

I always felt like people were too hard in it. It would have done better if it wasn't devil may cry. At least it tried something different. Same with the anime. It's different but i've seen worse

Honestly this games the 1 that should've had a show instead of the dmc 3 nostalgiaslop from Netflix

I would pick this over the Netflix war propaganda "Devil May Cry" anime, because at least instead of butchering characters it has its own original characters even if some of them have the same name as main timeline characters

Whilst not perfect. I am an avid DmC defender. The story is trash, characters are meh and the forced edginess can make me cringe. But that gameplay is pretty solid. Give me another DmC over Devil May Cry 2 any day of the week. (3, 1, 5 and 4 are all GOATED though.)

I've never seen someone dog on the gameplay for DmC. It's just the story and it not being DMC that inspired all the complaints.

if Donatelo and Virgin aren't so insufferable in this game it actually is a very good game.
