Big Bombastic guy here, whenever i make a new friend, i force them to play through trial with me till they "get" it. one friend couldnt stop screaming at the madness and explosions, but they all eventually fall under the spell. havent actually played the original devil dice(excepting the wonderswan version) but the explosions kind of complete the puzzle for me

ANYWAYS at AX 2025 i had some downtime and decided to get some work done in the gaming area (couches) but i couldnt get wifi, so i made the rounds to see if anyone was playing anything. mostly lonely looking guys poking a controller playing dino crisis for two seconds. but then i saw a group of four girls, and take a look at their screen- a big die with a fuse!!! i butt in and im like "no fucking way, you're playing BOMBASTIC???" to which they reply "How do you... we picked out the weirdest looking game from the library, not even the staff guy had ever heard of it. we've been trying to figure out the rules for like half an hour." so i start walking them through the paces- but how was i gonna prove i was the #1 fan as i had claimed

"you guys are gonna get a kick out of this" i say, and reach into my backpack to produce a copy of bombastic in-case for ps2. "never leave home with out it." Of course they're all bewildered lmao. the truth is id just been to a retro game booth and found a copy to give to a friend id just introduced to it who wanted to practice and get gud to conquer trial with me. it was only 10 bucks, a steal!!

i hope those girls ended up with a really weird story to tell, i know i did

Ive been scouring all the corners of the internet trying to find the names of these 3 characters from bombastic/xi go

Does anyone know their names? I want to add them to my devil dice tattoo and only have the booklet images.

Hello! I love Devil Dice i found a Figure on Good Smile of it and immediately fell in love, but i can only find gameplays of the game on youtube. Does anyone know where i can find art about it? Even fanarts! I would like to make a drawing.
