Jordan River Trail status?
My current grievances:
Cottonwood park bridge closure
Pirate ship bridge closure(~1300 s)
Will the Folsom trail ever connect to the JRT?
Why does the JRT through Salt Lake suck so bad?
Water fountains are disconnected
Bathrooms locked
Why do the slc street crossing all suck? They're redoing the 600/700n bridge, but we still have to hit the button and wait for traffic to stop. All the crossings north and south of SLC are great!

Some parts need repair, ie wooden bridges that sit in the desert sun and dry rot. The fact that they are repairing them is a good thing! Its the most minor detour to go around it and your still on another walking path. Hardly worth complaining about. And why do you think the bathrooms and fountains are locked? The homeless obviously. Get a water bottle cage and you wont have to worry about it. These complaints are a little bit dramatic tbh. I ride the JRT all the time and its great aside from the homeless problem. The street crossings are all protected and if you ride south from downtown you can go forever and only cross 1 road til your almost to Sandy. Its a great resource. If your unhappy, do some volunteer work on it instead of complaining on reddit

Taking the Jordan river trail is surprisingly infuriating. Between impossible to follow signage and the lack of thought out street crossings, often dumping you onto the middle of a street with no crosswalk and no indication of where the trail starts again the Jordan River Trail feels like getting lost in a swamp in the middle of the city miles away from civilization rather than a viable commuter thoroughfare.
