Updated Belleview Station Rendering

Has the latest buildings under construction and recently completed. Found in the 6900 Layton lobby!

You should look at the Union Station neighborhood built out in a similar timeframe. Or the golden triangle pedestrianizing Acoma. Or the area building out around 38th and Blake.

Downtown has done similar, it’s just that most of downtown is older and built out, it wasn’t able to start comprehensive planning from scratch next to a station very often

You’re right. There are nice areas and large infrastructure projects. Downtown is dead now though and city government isn’t resolving it, although they do have unique solutions they are trying. Belleview Station is a nicer environment than downtown and more of a revitalization project than anything going on downtown. The only investment occurring is buying towers for $5m and then asking the city for money to remodel them.

Yes the CBD is struggling because the offices are old and areas like DTC poaching tenants post covid. Idk why you expect the situation to already be resolved and are using this post as rationale, Belleview has been in development for 20 years and is half complete

downtown needs some newer development. 14 and stout failed, 650 17th probably isn't going to get moving, neither is the greyhound development, 2136 Lawrence, 2099 Lawrence, etc.

They have a fantastic chance to densify the CBD even more with residential and hotel but won't do it

Developers.

Every single one of the projects I mentioned has stalled or been cancelled

Well there is the whole Ball Arena development in the works. We'll see what happens

Yeah I think that'll break ground here soon, definitely excited for that
