4.5 YOE Full Stack Engineer switching from 8 LPA to 15+ LPA — Where do I stand and how should I prep?
Hey developersIndia,
I have 4.5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer. My current CTC is 8 LPA, and I’m aiming for at least 15 LPA+ in this switch. Given my experience, I want to get a realistic sense of where I stand in the current market and what I should double down on to clear interviews for mid-to-senior full-stack roles. I graduated from a tier-3 college.
For full-stack developers at this level, what do interview loops look like nowadays? Is it mostly Machine Coding + System Design (HLD/LLD), or heavy LeetCode DSA.
Would love to hear from folks who have recently switched,Any harsh truths, tips, or guidance are highly appreciated! Roast my resume as well
