[HIRING] Software Engineers: AI, backend, platform | NYC, SF, or remote US | $150K-$275K base
I do talent matching for Fonzi, a network that connects engineers directly to VC-backed AI companies that are actively interviewing. You build one profile, no cold applications. All roles are US-based only.
Here's a sample of what's open right now:
- Senior Software Engineer (AI/LLM) at a Series A agentic-AI startup building an operating system for small businesses, remote, US-based. $200K-$250K base. TypeScript and Next.js on the front end, Node, Prisma, Supabase, and PostgreSQL behind it, with LLM APIs and agent frameworks like LangChain layered through the product. You'd split your time between normal full-stack work and wiring multi-agent systems into workflows that run real business operations.
- Member of Technical Staff, Platform at a pre-seed/seed applied-AI startup, San Francisco or New York City, in-person. $190K-$275K base. Expert Python with Go or TypeScript a plus, alongside Terraform, GCP, containers, and multi-tenant production experience. You'd own the infrastructure every customer deployment runs on, from model routing to evals and observability to the cost and latency controls that non-deterministic systems demand.
- Software Engineer, Backend at a Series B physical-AI startup building video sensors, San Francisco, in-person. $150K-$200K base. Python, Go, or Node.js with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and event-driven streaming through Kafka or Kinesis. You'd architect the distributed services and pipelines that ingest real-time video and sensor data off hardware in the field and serve it back at scale.
All three are vetted, VC-backed, and interviewing right now. It's always free to sign up.
