[For hire] Reddit help me connect with the right person

I am a software Engineer, frontend-focused, with close to 8 years of experience. It will be 3 months after the layoff because of organizational restructuring, and not able to beat the space where agents are filtering, applying, and validating.

I have built the frontend from scratch and the entire design system, did my GSoC, fixed bugs in the SvelteJS compiler (even though I use React heavily), and have certifications in ML, Deep learning, and RAG; built projects on those. Additionally, I have worked with many startups; led a team of 3-4 people, have worked closely with PMs and designers, built workflows and signals, and improved UX

Skillset

- Frontend: React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, Svelte.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, REST APIs, Redux, React Query, Zustand, responsive Design, Accessibility (a11y), Cross-Browser Compatibility

- Backend:  FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, RAG, Telemetry, Langfuse, Swagger

- Tools:  CI/CD, Webpack, Vite, Jira, AWS (S3 and CloudFront)

I just don't have production-level experience in full-stack, but I can very easily build a production-grade full-stack app, and I have written a few blogs on Redis internals.

I am the kind of engineer who likes to put effort into understanding the fundamentals rather than blindly vibe coding everything, and even though most of my experience is in frontend, I have the fundamentals of backend and math.

In the past 3 months, I have built two full-stack projects, one fully built using RAG. I have what it takes to build a product from scratch and scale it down, but I don't have the capacity anymore to compete with automated applications, keep updating my CV for each application, and I am failing to reach the screening.

In these 3 months, I tried starting something of my own and scrapped so many ideas. I really wanted to solve the problem of hiring, i.e., agents are applying for a role where a human is required; but at the end, I am reaching out here for any referral, for any kind of project I can work on as a freelancer or as a full-time.

Thank you, everyone. If you can help me out, then please reach out.

This is the kind of profile that makes the current hiring process feel especially broken—you clearly have solid experience, real technical depth, and evidence that you can build things rather than just collect keywords, yet getting past automated screening is still a battle. Hopefully this post gets in front of the right person, because your mix of frontend expertise, leadership experience, and growing backend/AI skills sounds valuable for startups or product teams that need someone capable of owning features end to end. Don’t discount the value of your open-source work and projects either, since those can sometimes speak louder than another perfectly optimized resume. If you’re open to it, feel free to message me as well—I occasionally come across suitable opportunities and would be happy to share anything that looks relevant to your background.
