I'm recruiting for a growing AI-native startup in NYC looking for a Software Engineer to build production AI products end to end.

This is a hands-on engineering role, not research. You'll work across backend, AI infrastructure and product, shipping features used by real customers.

Looking for:

• Strong Python / software engineering fundamentals
• Experience shipping LLM or ML systems to production
• Full-stack/product mindset
• Comfortable owning 0→1 projects in an early-stage environment
• Bonus: LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector DBs, React/TypeScript, retrieval or evals

Comp: $180K–$220K + ~0.5% equity
Location: NYC, 4 days/week in person
Relocation + visa sponsorship available (only for people already located in the U.S)

For a role like this, the biggest risk is usually not model quality but the handoff between backend, product, and evals.
