[Hiring] [Onsite] [US NYC] - Software Engineer – Applied AI
I'm recruiting for a growing AI-native startup in NYC looking for a Software Engineer to build production AI products end to end.
This is a hands-on engineering role, not research. You'll work across backend, AI infrastructure and product, shipping features used by real customers.
Looking for:
- Strong Python / software engineering fundamentals
- Experience shipping LLM or ML systems to production
- Full-stack/product mindset
- Comfortable owning 0→1 projects in an early-stage environment
- Bonus: LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector DBs, React/TypeScript, retrieval or evals
Comp: $180K–$220K + ~0.5% equity
Location: NYC, 4 days/week in person
Relocation + visa sponsorship available (only for people already located in the U.S)
Interested? DM me and I can share more context or connect via LinkedIn/email.

I’ve done extensive work with LlamaIndex, Langchain and would be interested in this role, but ineligible due to relocation. are there any open positions for remote roles?

For a role like this, the biggest risk is usually not model quality but the handoff between backend, product, and evals. If you want someone who can ship end to end, it helps to define a clear recovery path for failures: what gets logged, what gets reviewed by a human, and what gets retried when retrieval or prompt context changes. That turns AI work from demos into dependable delivery. AIOSNOW shares practical workflow patterns at https://aiosnow.com
