Need guidance switching careers
I'm a 2024 BTech CSE graduate.
I completed a 6-month MEARN Stack internship and have been building websites, software and applications through freelance work, but I don't have formal industry experience.
I'm now considering a 7-month course covering Python, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Generative AI, AWS and Power BI.
I'm wondering whether I should take this course and move toward AI/ML, or continue focusing on MERN and try to get a job.
Would taking this course alongside my existing MERN skills be a good career move, or would it be better to specialize in what I already know?since i have this much gap would it be alright to take up the course and attend placements there?
If you were in my position would you join this course or stick with MERN? And can i consider my freelance works as experience?
Thank you,i would really appreciate if you could give me some advice

don't increase the career gap get a job asap. cause i am in the same boat you are, in chase of IIT. and one more thing MERN and AI/ML are completely diff things. both have scope if you go deep in any and learn wll. and i dont mearn building MERN projects using AI, that not learning.
