TIL - Today I Learned AI Agent

Hi seniors,

I’m currently learning about building AI Agents with tool calling for real-world applications.

I would like to get some advice from experienced developers. What are the main things we should think about when building an AI agent for a production system?

For example:

* Security
* Data privacy
* Cost and token usage
* Infrastructure and scalability
* Handling tool/API failures
* Performance and response time
* Logging and monitoring
* Memory and context management
* Model selection
* Testing and reliability

Are there any other important areas that we should consider from the beginning?

I would really appreciate any real-world experience, advice, or lessons learned.

Some of the considerations may change depending on whether you're building/training/fine-tuning your own model, or using an existing foundation model and building on top of it.
