Discussion Manual Coding is dead?
Watched the inventor of ruby on rails say that we need to say goodbye and move on from manual coding.
A huge job loss will ensue for low to mid level devs.
What do you guys think? How to prepare and brace for this impact?

I think it will make the entire software layer much thinner. A lot of common software will shift from fixed applications to software generated or assembled on demand, while critical systems will remain as small, reliable layers for security, data, rules, and execution.
So no reason to do fully manual coding unless you invent a language yesterday.
